SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Lonestar Early Bronco Club (LEBC) is proud to have the greatest Bronco community members, including our amazing youth, and we strive to make our events and gatherings a family friendly environment in order for them to be involved. Watching the kids of our club grow their love and knowledge of the early Ford Bronco, their desire to be out on the trail, to build lasting relationships with Bronco friends who turn into family, and to contribute their time to this club as adults is priceless. We are proud of our youth and want to help them succeed in furthering their education and reaching their goals. This is the purpose of the Lonestar Early Bronco Club (LEBC) Scholarship Program.
Scholarship Process:
- Scholarship recipient(s) will be selected in early April and funding provided directly to the school the following fall and spring semesters. Funding will not be provided for summer sessions. Please note - special accommodations may be made for trade schools due to their varying start dates, or other mitigating circumstances that are reviewed by the LEBC Scholarship Coordinator and funding approval provided by the LEBC Board of Directors.
- The number of annual awards will be determined by the available funding and could vary from year to year. These awards will not be renewable.
- A scholarship recipient will not be selected based on their financial need or academic merit. The applicant’s character and their involvement within the LEBC community is what will merit their selection as a recipient.
- Applications that meet eligibility requirements will be given to a third-party scholarship committee, not affiliated with LEBC in any manner, to make the recipient selection(s).
- Previous scholarship recipients will not be disqualified from receiving the scholarship again, but they must reapply to be considered. Please note – first consideration will be given to eligible applicants who have not previously received a scholarship. However, should funding allow for previous recipient(s) to receive a scholarship as well as the other applicants, then the LEBC Board of Directors may approve the award(s).
- The recipient(s) will be notified of their selection and provided information regarding the post-acceptance process.
- The recipient(s) will then be announced, and honored, at that year’s LEBC Spring Roundup event.
